Before every concert, Rick takes the audience’s place. He stands on every single imaginable spot that a viewer may take, and he stays there for one minute. He starts to imagine himself on stage, and tries to imagine better ways to impress that future spectator. He wants to comprehend why that person might be there at that moment. He wants to predict the feelings that may traverse that person’s mind. He wants to understand you, so that you can understand him.
Then he rocks until he drops.
